Academic Support Offices in the Center for Student Success

    Join the Course Achievement and Tutoring Center at Westfield State for academic growth. We offer tutoring, workshops, and one-on-one success coaching, creating a circle of care with campus services. Our retention software (WSU360) helps us ensure support for all students.

  • Banacos Center

    The Banacos Academic Center offers dedicated support through Student Accessibility Services and the Learning Disabilities Program. Any student, graduate or undergraduate, can access reasonable accommodations at any time. Prospective students that meet the criterion can benefit from our LD program for comprehensive support.

    The LEAD Scholars program provides support services to all students who identify as first-generation or demonstrate financial need.

    TRIO is an academic support program for first-generation college students, students with low income, and/or students with disabilities. It helps them maximize resources and opportunities at Westfield State while supporting their growth as scholars and professionals. Each student works one-on-one with a TRIO advisor throughout their time here.

    Westfield State supports all military-connected students—active duty, Guard, Reserve, veterans, and dependents. The Military Excellence Community Center in Scanlon Hall offers resources, study space with laptops, coffee, snacks, and is home to the Veterans Alliance club. Whether using benefits or not, our military-connected community is always supported.

    The Commonwealth Honors Program at Westfield State fosters a diverse community of learners and leaders, inspiring students to explore their passions through small classes, mentorship, hands-on projects, and community engagement.

    Experience our robust peer-tutoring program, available to all undergraduates during Fall and Spring semesters. Enhance learning through tailored one-on-one sessions with trained peer tutors. We provide flexible times and locations, ensuring accessibility for all students.

    Welcome to the Math Tutoring Center at WSU! We offer expert tutoring for MATH100 and MATH200 courses, including precalculus, calculus, and statistics. Visit us in Wilson 317 for dedicated assistance to boost your confidence and performance in math.
